In a book I read a long time ago, the author shared a powerful visual about trees that didn’t let go of their leaves before a snowstorm. Because the trees didn't let go of the past season, the weight of the leaves caused their branches to break. This image was life-changing for me, especially during a time when I needed to let go in order to heal after my husband's passing. Just like those trees, holding on to the past can weigh us down. It could break us if we don't let go of the past season. But when we "Release to Rise", we allow ourselves the freedom to grow and embrace the new season ahead, trusting that it's okay to let go.
This mug is a reminder that letting go, though difficult, can lead to growth and strength.
